Most recent GoPro cameras include GPS and sensor data: HERO11 Black, HERO10 Black, HERO9 Black, HERO8 Black, Max, HERO7 Black, HERO6 Black, HERO5 Black, Fusion, HERO7 Silver.
The GPS data is only available when the setting is activated (look for it in the Regional Settings of the camera) and the recording is done in good signal conditions: a clear view of the sky, with no obstacles and never upside down. Turn on the camera with the Power button (not the Record one) and wait for a GPS lock before recording so the camera can find the GPS satellites.
Speedometer, GPS Path, Accelerometer, Altitude, Distance, Slope, Dynamic Map, Gyroscope, Bearing, Acceleration (GPS), Time & Date, Lap Timer, Pace, Vertical Speed, Elevation Gain, Coordinates, Altitude vs Distance, Orientation, Heading, Lean Angle, Lean Angle (2 wheel), Airspeed, Altimeter, Attitude Indicator, Heading Indicator, Turn Coordinator, Vertical Speed Indicator, Pitch Angle, Longitudinal Acceleration (GPS), Acceleration (speed-based), Lateral Acceleration (GPS), Zero to Speed, Distance Timer, Attitude Estimate, GPS Path + Compass, Distance Home, Sector Times, Corner Speeds, ISO, Shutter Speed, White Balance, Custom, Dynamic Text, Static Title, Static Image, Export GPX and Watermark.
Availability may vary between devices and recording conditions. Other products than Telemetry Overlay may not include all these options.
Some other models have sensor data (Accelerometer, Gyroscope...) but no GPS: HERO12, HERO11 Mini, HERO10 Black Bones, HERO5 Session and HERO7 White.
Other streams are only available in some models and modes. For example, Orientation data is only available in the HERO8 and newer cameras (Max, HERO9...) and not in all recording modes, so gauges like some Lean Angle options, Pitch Angle or Heading won't be available for previous models. Also, Orientation heading values are not absolute, so applying an offset may be necessary.
Telemetry Overlay supports most video formats and dozens of embedded and external data formats.
Gauges can be customized to a great extent, but presets and defaults can make the user experience extremely easy.
Map and satellite imagery is available for representing GPS data.
Export formats for both professional and social use are available.
Lots of documentation, tutorials and an active community help achieve great results.

GoPro GPS not working? This tool will modify your videos to enable the GPS performance stickers or "gauges" in GoPro Quik, as long as there is some GPS signal to be "amplified". Test your files with Telemetry Extractor to know if you can expect a good result. This will not improve the quality of your GPS data, but it will force GoPro Quik to display it. | Learn more

The software is awesome! I have been using it on all my videos since purchasing it!
It's really fantastic. I can now take a 100% out of my Hero 8. Personal customer support was the best part. Help was quick and clear.
What a really great piece of work this app is. So easy to use and the recent update with racing in mind (laps and lean angle for bikes!) is fantastic
